Questions about our loans
Start at the application page on this website, in the mobile app, or with a loan officer. You tell us what you need, how you earn and who recommends you. An officer then follows up to complete the application with you.
A valid national ID and proof of how you earn, such as a payslip or trading records. You will also give the details of your recommender and, for each loan, your guarantors and any collateral. An officer tells you exactly what your loan needs.
We do not promise a fixed time, because your recommendation and guarantors have to be reached and confirmed by people. Your officer tells you where your application stands at each stage.
The cost is quoted to you before you sign: the amount, the interest, any fees and every instalment, in whole shillings. By law, interest cannot exceed 2.8% a month (Legal Notice No. 21 of 2024), and we do not price above it. If an onboarding fee applies when you register, you see it and confirm it before registration is submitted.
We assess affordability against your net income and existing commitments. Lower salaries can still qualify for smaller facilities, reach out and we will be straight with you about what is possible.
We look at what you can afford after your existing commitments. A lower income can still qualify for a smaller loan. An officer will tell you plainly what is possible.
